Islamic Republic of Iran armed forces

Hello guys, this is my first post on my blog Armed of World blog today my first post is will about Iran armed forces with including it's military equipment,missile inventory and it's military inventory so let's go to it now shall we ;)


Iran Armed forces were split to 5 parts which is:
-Ground Forces of Islamic Republic of Iran (NEZAJA)
-Navy of Islamic Republic of Iran (NEDAJA)
-Air Defense forces of Islamic Republic of Iran (PEDAJA)
-Air Force of Islamic Republic of Iran (NAHAJA) and
-Joint Staff of Islamic Republic of IRan (SEMAJA)

let"s discuss NEZAJA

It's military equipment were:
-Boragh/BMP-1 (250-300)
-BMP-2 (650)
-M113 (300)
-EE-9 Cascavel (35-90)
-BTR-50/60/80* (480 combined)
-FV-101/Tosan (60-80)
-Chieftain mk.3/mk.6/Mobarez (150 combined)
-M60 Patton (200)
-T-72S/M1 (538/25)
-T-72z/Type-72z (400 combined)
-M47 Patton/Sabalan (150)

some of my think like i missing iconic Iranian tank like Zulfiqar or Karrar, i will explain you that Zulfiqar were never put into service in the first place and Karrar is on the production with 800 of the already being ordered we may see Karrar put into services in the future.

And regarding small arms to ATGM i will make seperate blog about so btw thanks for reading
